I have become an “International Dominican sister” because of the special situation of our Congregation. Our origin is Dutch – German, and even in the Second World War sisters of these two nations lived together. Dutch sisters entered the Congregation that only existed in the Netherlands at that time, while the superior of the novices was a German sister.
